Frank Raciti - Owner

Frank began his career in the automotive repair field in the mid-1970s at a service station in his hometown of Warren NJ. Upon graduating from Watchung Hills Regional High School in 1977, he attended Somerset County Technical Institute where he participated in the 2 year Automotive Technology Program. After his graduation in 1979, he embarked on the road that would lead to his ultimate goal: owning his own shop. After working his way through the ranks in auto dealerships, and reaching the top of top of the ladder, Frank decided that the time had come. In July of 1989, Frank and his wife Darlyne opened Franks Automotive Service. Since that day, Frank has been combining his passion for fixing cars with his love of helping others. While he has made a living fixing his clients cars, he considers the relationships he has forged with his customers to be priceless.

Frank is an ASE Certified Master Auto Technician and Advanced Engine Performance Specialist. He is an NJMVC Licensed Emissions Repair Technician and Motor-Vehicle Inspector.       

  Passad Ramgobin - Service Advisor/Manager 

Passad emigrated from the twin island nation of Trinidad and Tobago in the late 1970’s and has resided in New Jersey since.

For over twenty years, Passad held a supervisory position at a large steel processing and exporting company in South Plainfield. He managed the overall day-to-day operations of the 25,000 sq. ft. complex while raising his three sons. When the global economy forced the company to close its doors in 2005, Passad used the opportunity to pursue a new career path that involved his passion, auto mechanics. After completing the certificate program in Automotive Technology at Union County Vocational/Technical School, and achieving his ASE certification he began his career in the automotive field. His desire to be more involved with customers and to have a more direct role in helping people led him to the Service Advisor/Manager position.

Passad takes great pride in his work and gladly embraces the responsibility to our customers that comes with it. He is often heard saying that our customers should be treated with the same kindness and caring we would expect for a loved one. We are very fortunate to have Passad as the first face you see when you enter Franks Automotive Service.

Armando Dominguez-Velazquez - Service Technician

Since coming to Franks Automotive Service a number of years ago, Armando has distinguished himself as a mainstay on our staff. He is an experienced and skilled technician.

Armando is a graduate of Lincoln Technical Institutes Automotive Technology Program. He is an ASE certified automotive technician and a NJMVC licensed motor-vehicle inspector. He is a regular attendee at Mechanics Education Association. There he continues his education by taking courses on new automotive trends and technologies as well as brushing up in areas he feels he needs to. His creativity and problem solving skills along with his caring nature make him an asset in the shop.
